ANSAB organized a single day field visit to Dolakha followed by a workshop for a team of policy makers that represented a variety of institutions: PPA alliance members and donor organizations including USAID, SDC and SNV Nepal. The workshop ran from April 11th to the 14th, 2003 and was held in Nagarkot. The program was designed to provide policy makers with the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the grassroots issues related to community forestry and the NTFPs and forest-based enterprises that affect policy. The workshop also worked to facilitate the implementation of Public Private Alliance (PPA) field activities.
