Resource Mobilization and Team Building Workshop Held

ANSAB brought together all its members, from the board to the field staff, to develop a resource mobilization strategy and implement it in ANSAB's future program, a workshop named ‘Resource Mobilization and Team Building Workshop’ from July 25-28, 2006.

Resource mobilization strategy development process ran through the Appreciative Inquiry approach and brought out ideas and plans from the field to ANSAB’s board of international personalities. Ideas ranged from generating funds to mobilizing knowledge, and were the result of participation and passion of all the concerned stakeholders for poverty alleviation and biodiversity conservation.

The four day long workshop, with over 50 participants, produced a draft of resource mobilization (fund raising and diversifying) strategies for long-term sustainability and effectiveness of ANSAB programs; strengthened resources mobilization capacity of the ANSAB Board and staff members; and enhanced closeness, team unity and coordination among staff and board.
