Allo and hemp exports up by 49%

Export of Allo and Hemp products in the first 10 month of FY 2061/62 touched NRs 50.81 million, representing an increase of 49% compared to same period last year, says Handicraft Association of Nepal. Allo and Hemp products were exported to more than 40 countries around the world. Japan remained the largest destination for Nepali Allo and Hemp products, occupying about 50% of the export. Allo and Hemp products constitute about 2% of the country’s total handicraft export.
